In the third quarter of 2024, several 2D anime games captured the attention of iOS users in Madagascar. Here's a closer look at the performance trends of the top five games during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. exhibited fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $277 in the week of August 26. The game saw modest weekly downloads, with a maximum of 11 downloads in the first week of July. However, the number of weekly active users showed a slight decline from 22 at the beginning of July to 16 by the end of September.
Hero Wars: Alliance RPG, developed by Nexters Global LTD, experienced a notable surge in revenue, reaching $314 in the week of September 9. The game also witnessed a peak in downloads with 86 in the week of July 22. Active users increased steadily, reaching a peak of 85 in early August before gradually decreasing to 28 by the end of the quarter.
Mobile Legends: Adventure by Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. maintained a relatively stable revenue stream, with minor fluctuations around $5 to $16 throughout the quarter. Downloads were minimal, with only 2 recorded in the last week of September.
KONAMI's Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links had a steady yet low revenue performance, consistently hovering around $2 to $5 per week. Downloads were sparse, with only a single download recorded in the weeks of August 19 and August 26.
Finally, Guardian Tales from Kakao Games Corp. showed minimal revenue activity, remaining mostly between $1 and $3 throughout the quarter. Downloads were almost non-existent, with just 2 recorded in the week of September 16.
