During the third quarter of 2024, the top automotive apps on iOS in New Zealand exhibited diverse performance trends according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the weekly download and active user metrics for these apps.
BPme, published by BP Oil New Zealand Limited, showed an interesting pattern in downloads. Starting at around 1.9K downloads in early July, it peaked mid-month with 2.8K before gradually declining to just over 1.2K by the end of September.
Mobil New Zealand from Exxon Mobil Corporation maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, beginning at 846 and ending with 768 downloads by the last week of September.
The AA Road Code Quiz app experienced a consistent download rate, hovering around 600 weekly downloads. Active users for this app showed a slight decline over the quarter, starting at approximately 3.1K in early July and ending at around 3K by September end.
DT Driving Tests Theory saw a downward trend in downloads, beginning with 587 in early July and decreasing to 562 by the last week of September.
Finally, the AA Roadservice app, also from The New Zealand Automobile Association Incorporated, experienced a modest fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 405 in mid-July and ending the quarter with 385 downloads.
