During Q3 2024, the education app market on iOS in Costa Rica showcased varied performance among the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.
Duolingo - Language Lessons saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at about $5.8K at the beginning of July and peaking at $10.3K by the end of September. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.7K. The app's active user base grew steadily from approximately 24.1K to 28.3K over the quarter.
Quiziz experienced fluctuating revenue, starting at $172 and rising to $310 by the end of September. The app's downloads increased gradually, ending the quarter at 748, while no data was provided for active users.
Speak English with Loora AI had a variable revenue trend, starting at $1.1K and reaching $1.5K by the end of September. Downloads showed a declining trend, starting at 802 and dropping to 338. However, the app maintained a steady increase in active users, from 4.5K to 5.6K.
Headway: Daily Book Summaries started with a revenue of $2.2K, peaking mid-quarter, and ending at $2.9K. Downloads were mixed, starting at 599 and fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users decreased from 2.1K at the start to approximately 1.7K by the end.
Finally, Clever: Brain Logic Training experienced a slight decline in revenue from $671 to $480. Downloads also showed a decreasing trend, starting at 839 and ending at 333. Active user numbers decreased from 1.7K to 1.4K.
