Top 5 iOS Finance Apps in Madagascar Q3 2024 Performance

The third quarter of 2024 saw varied performances among the top finance applications on iOS in Madagascar. Here, we take a closer look at their weekly download and active user trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

MVola maintained a relatively stable download pattern throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 230 to 350. The app experienced a notable peak in the week of July 22 with 347 downloads.

Orange Money Africa exhibited a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 289 in early July and stabilizing around 282 by the end of September. Weekly active users for the app grew steadily from 2.4K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 2.8K by the end.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save saw its downloads peaking at 152 in mid-August, with a general upward trend towards the end of the quarter. Active users also increased from 458 at the start to 550 by the end of September, indicating growing engagement.

SG Connect demonstrated a more varied download pattern, with figures ranging from 76 to 136. Despite fluctuations, the app showed resilience, maintaining a steady presence in the market.

Finally, Taptap Send: Money Transfer experienced a positive trajectory in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 89 in early July to 143 by September's end, while active users also increased from 248 to 309 over the quarter.
