During the third quarter of 2024, first-person games on iOS in Norway showed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these top-performing apps revealed intriguing insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
GeoGuessr from GeoGuessr AB saw a consistent weekly revenue pattern, peaking at around $1.5K in early July and tapering to $946 by mid-September. Downloads started strong with numbers over 1K in early July but gradually declined to 679 by the end of September. Active users showed a similar trend, beginning at 2.5K and ending at approximately 2.1K.
My Superstore Simulator by Game District LLC experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting modestly and reaching $329 by the quarter's end. Downloads surged remarkably from 18 in late July to 2.6K by the end of September. Active users also climbed, beginning with just 13 and skyrocketing to nearly 4.9K by the end of the quarter.
For Fishing Master from Ark Game Limited, revenue peaked at $613 in mid-August before gradually declining to $309 by late September. Downloads exhibited a declining trend, starting at 2.3K in early August and falling to 217 by the end of September. Active users reflected a similar pattern, with an initial spike to 3.7K in mid-August dropping to 829 by the end of the quarter.
Airport Security: Fly Safe from Kwalee Ltd showed a downward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 889 in early July to 196 by the end of September. Active users followed suit, starting at 1.3K and concluding the quarter at 448.
Lastly, Hunting Sniper: Showdown by SPARKS INFORMATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. maintained a strong revenue stream, peaking at $4K in early September and closing the quarter at $2.8K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak reaching 641 by the end of September. Active users showed steady growth, beginning at 2.3K and ending at 3.1K.
