In the third quarter of 2024, the io games category on iOS in Israel showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications. Here, we dive into the weekly metrics of these popular games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Paper.io 2, developed by Voodoo, saw its weekly revenue peak at around $282 in late July, followed by a gradual decline to $169 by the end of September. Downloads experienced a notable increase, starting at approximately 4K in early July and ending the quarter with a similar figure. Active users fluctuated throughout the period, peaking at 14K in July and closing at 13.5K in September.
Snake Clash! from Supercent, Inc. experienced a steady revenue with minor fluctuations, peaking at about $137 in late August. Downloads initially rose to 3.6K in August before declining to 1.9K at the end of September. The game maintained a stable active user base, reaching a high of 12K in August.
Hole.io, another title by Voodoo, showed a rather modest revenue trajectory, reaching a high of $95 by the end of September. Downloads were quite dynamic, starting at 4.4K in July and closing at 3.1K. Active users decreased initially but recovered to 11.8K by the end of the quarter.
For Snake.io - Fun Online Snake by Kooapps, revenue remained low, peaking briefly at $43. Downloads hovered around 2.3K to 2.7K, while the game maintained a robust active user base, peaking at nearly 30K in August.
Finally, slither.io from Lowtech Studios LLC showed no revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads were modest, with a peak of approximately 2K in July, and active users gradually declined from 8.6K to 6.7K by the end of September.
