In the third quarter of 2024, the top five tennis games on the iOS platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Tennis Clash:Sports Stars Game by Wildlife Studios saw a peak in revenue at approximately $73K in the week of September 9, with a general upward trend throughout July and August. Downloads reached a high of about 19.6K in the week of August 26, although there was a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter. The game maintained a strong base of weekly active users, peaking at around 154.8K in late August before experiencing a slight decline to 130.8K by the end of September.
Tennis Arena from Helium9 Games achieved its highest revenue of roughly $4.8K in the week of August 26, with downloads peaking at about 4.4K in the week of August 12. The game sustained a consistent number of weekly active users, ranging between 16.4K and 21.6K throughout the quarter.
Voodoo's Twin Tennis exhibited stable weekly active users, maintaining numbers around 44.4K to 46.8K. Downloads peaked early in the quarter at roughly 3.1K in mid-July and gradually decreased over the subsequent months. The app generated minimal revenue, with slight increases noted in late July and early August.
Mini Tennis: Perfect Smash by Miniclip.com experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a maximum of about $3.4K in the first week of July. Downloads saw a slight increase in mid-August, reaching around 2K, while weekly active users peaked at approximately 69.4K in the same period before declining towards quarter-end.
Lastly, Cat Tennis - Meme Game managed to attract a peak of around 2.6K downloads in mid-August. The weekly active users ranged from 15.7K to 19.1K, with a noticeable peak in mid-August as well. The app did not generate revenue during this quarter.
