Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $504 in mid-September. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of approximately 82K in the week of September 16. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 16.8M throughout the quarter.
WhatsApp Messenger, developed by WhatsApp LLC, maintained strong weekly download numbers, reaching a peak of about 112K in mid-September. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual increase, rising from approximately 5.7M at the start of July to over 6M by the end of September.
Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC experienced a notable surge in weekly revenue, culminating at nearly $53K in late September. Weekly downloads remained consistent, hovering around 38K to 42K, while weekly active users displayed a slight upward trend, closing the quarter at approximately 1.36M.
Snapchat by Snap Inc. demonstrated an increase in weekly revenue, reaching around $24.7K in late September. The app's weekly downloads were relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease towards the end, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with approximately 4.6M.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out from Discord Inc. showed a consistent pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at about $22.1K in early September. Weekly downloads saw a slight increase, reaching approximately 27K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also exhibited a steady rise, culminating at about 3.75M.
