In the third quarter of 2024, the dance games category in the Netherlands saw varied performance across the top apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for the leading dance applications on a unified platform:
Just Dance Now from Ubisoft showcased a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $266 in late July and closing the quarter with $246. Downloads remained relatively consistent, with a slight dip in late August before recovering to 317 by the end of September. Weekly active users saw a downward trend, starting at 901 and dropping to 706 by the quarter's end.
Ice Skating Ballerina, published by Coco Play, experienced minimal revenue gains, with the highest being $33 in early September. Downloads peaked at 178 in early August, followed by a decline to 41 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 123 and decreasing to 56.
For Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop, also from Coco Play, revenue was negligible throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at 118 in early August, but fell to 44 by the end of September. Active users started at 144 and fluctuated, ending at 90.
Acrobat Star Show witnessed no significant revenue. Downloads were sporadic, with a peak of 196 in late July but dropped to zero by the end of September. Active user data, available for a limited period, showed a peak at 189 in late July before declining.
Lastly, Pole Star! from Crazy Labs did not generate any revenue. Downloads were steady initially but decreased significantly towards the end of the quarter, with just 7 downloads in the final week. Active users started at 42 and saw a significant drop to 10 by the end of September.
