In the third quarter of 2024, the health and fitness app market in Russia showed diverse trends across the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue.
MTS Urent maintained a strong presence in the Russian market with weekly downloads starting at around 173K and gradually decreasing to approximately 64K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users began at 319K and saw a consistent decline, ending the quarter at about 207K.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite) had a steady download rate, fluctuating between 49K and 57K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers were robust, starting at 910K and seeing a peak of around 995K in early September before settling at approximately 948K by the end of the quarter.
Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker experienced notable ups and downs in its weekly revenue, peaking at $25.5K in early September. Downloads began at 62K and gradually decreased to about 42K. Despite this, the app maintained a strong active user base, starting at 1.4M and ending the quarter with 1.37M users.
Pedometer & Step Counter exhibited varied download trends, starting at 70K and decreasing to 43K. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $84 during the first week of August. Active users began at 1.82M and ended the quarter with 1.57M.
Finally, Calorie Counter by fatsecret showed consistent download numbers, starting at 44K and ending at 38K. Weekly revenue peaked at $6.4K in early September. The app's active user count remained stable, starting at 625K and finishing the quarter with 626K.
