In the third quarter of 2024, the hybridcasual game market in Nigeria showcased interesting trends across the top five games, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Train Miner: Idle Railway Game from AI Games FZ saw an impressive surge in weekly downloads, with a peak of about 70.8K in early August. However, this was followed by a decline, ending the quarter at roughly 2.1K downloads. The game's weekly revenue reached its highest at $18 in mid-August, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at around 93K in early September before decreasing to approximately 60.8K by the end of the quarter.
Mini Militia - Doodle Army 2 by Miniclip.com maintained a stable performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around the 15K to 18K range, with a slight decline towards September, ending at 15.1K. The game consistently generated weekly revenue around the $30 to $50 mark, peaking at $50 in late September. Weekly active users remained robust, averaging around 230K throughout the quarter.
Frontline Heroes: WW2 Warfare from HOMA GAMES experienced a steady stream of weekly downloads, beginning at 17.9K and finishing the quarter at 12.8K. Revenue was minimal, with occasional peaks, such as $13 in early September. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, peaking at nearly 93.5K towards the end of September.
Pizza Ready!, published by Supercent, Inc., exhibited a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 18.9K and decreasing to 9.5K by the end of the quarter. Despite this, weekly revenue remained relatively stable, with slight fluctuations around $20 to $25. Active users followed a similar downward trend, beginning at 42.9K and ending at 34.8K.
Temple Run 2 from Imangi Studios, LLC maintained a consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging from 12.6K to 19.3K, peaking in late July. Revenue was modest, peaking at $67 in mid-July, while weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 135K throughout the quarter.
