Spotify: Music and Podcasts consistently dominated the market with substantial weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.55M in the week of September 9. The app's weekly revenue also saw a gradual increase, reaching around $214K by the end of August. Active users remained robust throughout the quarter, with a slight increase toward the end, peaking at 97M in the final week of September.
Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 146K in early July and rising to 164K by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $66K, with a slight increase in the last week of September. Active users showed a noticeable increase toward the end of the quarter, reaching 1.64M.
Deezer: Music & Podcast Player showed a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting at 72K and decreasing to 63K by the end of September. Revenue remained steady, with a slight upward trend, peaking at $131K in the final week. Active users showed a gradual decline, ending the quarter at 4.3M.
Moises: The Musician's AI App saw an increase in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 90K in early August. Revenue displayed a gradual increase, reaching $47K by late September. Active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining around 240K toward the quarter's end.
Apple Music experienced a notable spike in downloads in mid-August, reaching 149K, followed by a decline. Revenue remained stable, slightly increasing to $24K by the end of September. Active users saw a significant rise in August, peaking at 611K, and maintained a steady presence through the end of the quarter.
