In the third quarter of 2024, the puzzle game category in the United Kingdom showcased intriguing trends across the top five applications on a unified platform. Here, we delve into the performance of these apps, highlighting key metrics such as weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Block Blast! by Hungry Studio displayed a remarkable growth in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 105K in early July and reaching a peak of nearly 340K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting from around 396K and surging to over 914K by the quarter's end.
Meanwhile, Zen Word® - Relax Puzzle Game from Oakever Games saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, beginning at $7.5K in early July and climbing to about $17.5K by September's close. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 104K in mid-August, while active users grew steadily from 170K to over 331K.
Fruit Merge: Match Game, published by Bravestars Technology JSC, experienced a gradual rise in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $4.7K by late September. Download numbers varied throughout the quarter, with a high of around 77K in early July, and active users consistently increased from 64K to 267K.
ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD.'s Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt™ maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $11K and $15K. Downloads showed a declining trend from 67K in mid-July to around 26K by September's end. Active users also experienced a slight decline, ending the quarter at approximately 115K.
Finally, Screw Pin Jam Puzzle by Playbox Studio demonstrated a slight dip in weekly downloads from 63K in early July to 26K by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at $12.6K, while active users hovered consistently around 160K.
