State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, the top five racing games in the United States on a unified platform exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. These insights, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveal the dynamic landscape of mobile gaming in this genre.
CSR 2 - Realistic Drag Racing from Zynga Inc. experienced fluctuating revenue throughout the quarter, starting at approximately $521K and ending at $415K. Downloads showed a decrease from 59K to 53K by the end of September, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, slightly decreasing from 741K to 679K.
Pocket Champs PVP Racing Games, developed by MADBOX, saw its revenue peak at $291K in early September before closing the quarter at around $280K. Downloads began at 38K, peaked mid-quarter at 53K, and settled at 41K. The active user base grew from 241K in early July to 267K by the end of September.
No Limit Drag Racing 2 by Sycamore Valley Software LLC had a downward trend in revenue from $184K to $109K. Downloads hovered around 17K, with a slight fluctuation throughout the quarter. Active users started at 87K and slightly decreased to 78K by the quarter's end.
Nintendo's Mario Kart Tour showed a revenue increase from $82K to $95K. Downloads decreased significantly, from 61K at the start of the quarter to 41K at the end. The weekly active users also decreased from 383K to 291K.
Lastly, Asphalt Legends Unite from Gameloft had a revenue trend that started at $60K, peaked at $82K mid-quarter, and ended at $40K. Downloads showed a general decline from 47K to 23K. Active users decreased from 133K to 94K over the quarter.
