In the third quarter of 2024, the unified platform for Belgium's top shopping apps showcased diverse patterns in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire demonstrated a robust performance in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 42K and peaking at 98K in early August. The app maintained a consistent increase in weekly active users, starting from 655K and reaching over 810K by the end of September.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a steady pattern in downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 21K and 34K throughout the quarter. The active user base remained strong, beginning at 530K and closing the quarter slightly higher at 535K.
For ALDI België, weekly downloads started at 71K but saw a gradual decline to around 12K by the end of September. Active users also decreased from 42K to 21K over the same period.
Social Deal - The best deals experienced a modest decline in downloads, starting at 14K and ending at 10K. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 100K to 110K throughout the quarter.
Finally, Amazon exhibited consistent weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $15K to $18K. Downloads varied, with an increase from 9K to 16K by the end of September. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from 599K to 646K.
