During the third quarter of 2024, the survival game genre saw varied performance trends in Ireland across a unified platform. Here's a closer look at the top five games in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Last Day on Earth: Survival by Kefir showed modest fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $779 in early August. Downloads hovered between 83 and 136 weekly, while active users slightly decreased from 654 in early July to 577 by the end of September.
Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad from Survival Games Ltd experienced a notable drop in downloads, starting at 853 and ending the quarter at 246. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $300 to $400 weekly, while active users decreased from 1.8K to just over 1K.
Idle Breaker by Estoty witnessed a significant rise in revenue, reaching a high of $475 in mid-August. Downloads peaked at 215 during the same period, and active users increased from 293 to 463 by late August before stabilizing around 350.
Grim Soul: Survival Magic RPG, published by Brickworks Games, had a steady climb in revenue towards the end of the quarter, peaking at $382 in late September. Weekly downloads remained low, ranging from 12 to 76, while active users showed a slight uptrend, ending at 134.
Finally, Westland Survival - Cowboy RPG from Helio Games demonstrated a gradual increase in revenue, culminating at $279 by September's end. Downloads varied little, staying between 40 and 85, while active users maintained around 500 throughout the quarter.
