In the third quarter of 2024, the top five survival games on a unified platform in Australia showcased varied performances in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. These insights are derived from Sensor Tower's comprehensive data analysis.
Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad from Survival Games Ltd saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.9K at the end of July. Downloads experienced a dip in August, hitting a low of approximately 2.4K before rebounding to 3.2K by late September. Active users mirrored this pattern, declining to about 10K mid-quarter but closing at over 10.2K.
Hide in The Backroom: Nextbots by AI Games FZ showed minimal revenue, often close to zero. Downloads began strong with over 3.2K in early July but gradually fell, stabilizing at around 1.5K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users showed resilience, increasing steadily from 16.9K to over 20.6K throughout the quarter.
The Baby In Yellow from Team Terrible had sporadic revenue, with minor peaks at $43 in early September. Downloads improved gradually, starting at 1.5K and reaching over 1.9K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 3.6K to 4.3K.
Hello Neighbor by tinyBuild LLC experienced a decline in revenue from $477 in early July to $360 by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.1K to 1.4K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a decline from 8.5K to 7.3K, with a slight uptick in late September.
Lastly, Idle Breaker from Estoty demonstrated a significant increase in revenue, starting at $1.6K and soaring to $4.2K by the end of September. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 1.4K before settling at just over 1K. Active users increased from 1K to 1.7K, reflecting a positive engagement trend.
