The third quarter of 2024 witnessed notable trends in the top tabletop board games applications on a unified platform in Nigeria. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games have shown varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement.
Naija Ludo from Tonielrosoft maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, starting with approximately 23.9K weekly downloads in early July and ending the quarter around 20.8K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 104K mark. Revenue was minimal but peaked at $5 in mid-August.
Ludo Naira by Get Moore Services Ltd experienced a surge in weekly downloads, starting at 9.5K in early July and escalating to nearly 60K by the end of September. This upward trend was mirrored in its active user base, which grew from 61.3K to over 126K by the quarter's end.
Ludo Dice Cash Games MPL Naija from Carry1st saw consistent growth in downloads, beginning at 14.4K in July and rising to 25.7K by late September. The app's active users also showed growth, increasing from 143K to approximately 208K over the quarter.
Ludo Master™ - Ludo Board Game by Hippo Lab had a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at 11.5K in late July before declining to around 5.3K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, with a mid-quarter peak at 28.8K before tapering off to 20.9K.
Checkers by English Checkers had a consistent download rate early in the quarter, with numbers ranging from 6.8K to 7.2K, before dropping to 3.4K at the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the mid-26K range, before declining to 21.3K by the end of the quarter.
