2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the final quarter of 2024, several air travel apps showed notable trends on the Android platform in Latin America, according to data from Sensor Tower.
LATAM: Flights, Hotels, Cars saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 79.5K in late December. Active users also increased steadily, starting at approximately 935K and closing the quarter at around 926K, despite some fluctuations.
For LATAM Pass, downloads witnessed a remarkable surge in mid-December, reaching close to 96K. The app's active users grew from about 173K at the start of the quarter to over 260K by the end.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $6.5K at the end of December. Downloads spiked dramatically to 48.3K in the week of December 23, while active users increased from 599K to over 702K by the quarter's end.
Viva experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping to around 15.3K by late December. However, active users saw a positive trend, rising from 310K to over 539K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Azul showed a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 27.6K in late November. Despite a slight drop towards the end, active users remained robust, starting at 1.56M and ending the quarter with approximately 1.35M.
