2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top parenting applications on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends observed for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Findmykids: Kids GPS Tracker showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 11.4K at the beginning of October and dropping to approximately 3.3K by early December, before recovering to 8.3K by the end of the year. Weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, peaking at about $31.9K in early October and ending the quarter at $28.9K. Active users saw a decrease from 152.7K in late September to 126.1K by the end of December.
The Pregnancy App & Baby Tracker experienced a slight increase in weekly downloads, with numbers rising from 6.2K at the start of October to a peak of 10K in mid-November, before settling at 5.6K by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 239.7K and closing the quarter at 241.4K.
FamilyAlbum - Photo Sharing maintained a stable weekly revenue, averaging around $9K, with a slight peak at $10.3K in early December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 5.6K and ending at 9.6K. Active users showed growth, moving from 284K in late September to 295.8K by the end of December.
Microsoft Family Safety had a steady revenue stream, averaging a few hundred dollars weekly, with a peak of $609 in late November. Downloads increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, from 3.2K in late September to 14.1K in late December. Active users increased from 117.2K to 145.3K during the same period.
Finally, Family Nest | Ex - Family360 saw a stable revenue, with minor fluctuations around $4K to $5K weekly. Downloads started at 3.9K and ended at 4K. Active users decreased from 89.2K in late September to 53.2K at the end of December.
