Top 5 Food Delivery Apps in the Netherlands: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the food delivery landscape in the Netherlands showcased varied performance across the top five apps, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 18.1K in late October before gradually declining to approximately 8.3K by the end of December. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, starting at around 799K and dipping to 635K by the quarter's end.

Thuisbezorgd.nl experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, closing the quarter with approximately 13.9K downloads. Active users also increased, starting at 832K and reaching over 1.1 million in the final week of December.

Picnic Online Supermarket showed a decrease in downloads mid-quarter, bottoming at about 5.7K before rising to 10.5K at year-end. Active users followed a similar trend, ending the quarter around 675K.

Uber Eats: Food & Groceries had a modest download pattern, with numbers hovering between 5.1K and 7.2K. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with approximately 358K.

Flink: Groceries in minutes maintained a relatively stable download rate, finishing at about 4.6K. Active users saw a slight increase towards the end, closing at approximately 147K.
