In the fourth quarter of 2024, several free-to-play games showed notable trends in Costa Rica's unified mobile gaming market. Here's a look at the performance of the top five games based on data from Sensor Tower.
Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $79K in late December. Downloads fluctuated, hitting a high of about 11K during the week of December 23. The game's active user base began at approximately 223K, with a slight increase to 207K by the end of the quarter.
Brawl Stars experienced a varied revenue pattern, reaching up to $35K in early November. Weekly downloads peaked at about 8.2K in late December. The game maintained a strong active user base, starting at 159K and peaking at 203K in early December.
Roblox consistently increased its weekly revenue, with a high of about $35K in December. Downloads also showed an upward trend, reaching around 16K in the week leading up to Christmas. Active users were robust, beginning at 230K and peaking at 277K in mid-December.
Royal Match maintained a steady revenue stream, with peaks at $17K in late December. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable low of 2.3K mid-December. The active user count remained relatively stable, starting at 56K and ending the quarter at 55K.
Call of Duty®: Mobile showed a steady revenue increase, peaking at $20K in early December. Download numbers varied, with a high of about 4.9K in late December. Active users began at 33K, with a slight dip to 29K by the end of the quarter.
