State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top utilities applications on a unified platform in the United States showcased varying trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Google maintained a robust performance with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 550K in mid-October and tapering to around 410K by the end of December. Its active user base remained strong, starting at 193M and reaching nearly 199M by the quarter's close.
Google Chrome experienced a relatively stable download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 280K and 340K. Active users hovered around 209M, with a slight increase to 210M by the end of December.
Google Authenticator saw weekly downloads ranging from 167K to 231K, peaking in early December. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 8.8M and fluctuating throughout the quarter, closing at 8.5M.
Amazon Fire TV downloads varied, reaching a high of 189K in late December. Active users increased steadily from 3.3M to over 4.2M by the end of the quarter.
TV Remote - Universal Control demonstrated consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 135K in late November. Active users ranged from 156K to 189K during the quarter.
