In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading apparel applications on Android in Germany showcased varied trends in downloads and user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.
SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 38K in mid-March. Its active user base grew steadily, starting from 2.9M at the beginning of January and reaching nearly 3.8M by the end of March.
Takko Friends experienced a significant increase in downloads, with a notable spike to 32K in the last week of March. Active users mirrored this upward trend, rising from 318K to over 664K during the quarter.
Zalando – online fashion store saw a gradual decline in downloads, falling to around 11K by the end of March. However, its active users showed resilience, fluctuating between 2M and 2.3M, with a peak in early March.
NEW YORKER - Fashion & Style had a decline in downloads towards the end of the quarter, ending at approximately 8K. Active users, however, increased from 63K to 88K, indicating growing engagement.
DEICHMANN Footwear experienced a drop in downloads after an initial surge in early February, with numbers decreasing to about 7.8K by the end of March. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 95K in the last week of March.
