In the first quarter of 2025, the arcade racing genre on Android in the United States saw significant activity, with notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five apps. Data provided by Sensor Tower reveals the following insights:
Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games from Madbox demonstrated a robust performance in terms of revenue, peaking at around $88K in mid-March. The app maintained weekly downloads ranging from 11K to 23K, with active users fluctuating slightly but ending the quarter at approximately 113K.
Need for Speed™ No Limits by Electronic Arts experienced a consistent revenue stream, hovering around $26K to $34K weekly. Downloads were stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching up to 16K. Active users remained steady, averaging around 87K.
Asphalt Legends Unite, published by Gameloft SE, saw a varied revenue trend, peaking at $27K in mid-March. The app's downloads were highest in early February at 17K, while active users showed growth, peaking at 32K in the same period.
Disney Speedstorm also from Gameloft SE, maintained a modest revenue range, with weekly earnings around $5K to $7K. Downloads were relatively low, peaking at approximately 2.4K, and active users remained under 7K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, CarX Street by CarX Technologies showed a stable pattern in revenue, with weekly figures between $3.5K and $8K. Downloads fluctuated between 2K and 3.4K, while active users remained consistent, averaging around 14K.
