In the first quarter of 2025, several cat-themed games on the Android platform captured the attention of South American users. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps in this category, sourced from Sensor Tower data.
The Battle Cats from PONOS Corporation showed strong growth in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of approximately $7.1K by the end of March. The app's downloads experienced an initial surge to over 23K in mid-February before stabilizing around 7.1K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users decreased slightly from 141K at the beginning of the quarter to 136K.
Office Cat: Idle Tycoon Games by TREEPLLA saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at around $2.2K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 15.8K in early January before dropping to about 3.1K by March's end. The game's active users followed a downward trend, decreasing from 97.5K to 73.2K.
My Cat - Virtual pet simulator from Appsyoulove had a steady increase in weekly revenue, culminating at $3.7K. Downloads surged towards the end of the quarter, topping 65K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 102K and 151K.
My Talking Angela 2 by Outfit7 Limited experienced modest revenue growth, ending March at $1.6K. Downloads were robust throughout the quarter, maintaining a range between 246K and 505K. Active users showed a slight decline, with numbers decreasing from 3.7M to 2.7M.
Finally, My Talking Tom 2, also by Outfit7 Limited, concluded the quarter with a revenue increase to $1.5K. Despite a drop in downloads from 580K to 284K, active users remained high, though they decreased from 3.2M to 2.1M.
