During the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Brazil demonstrated notable trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Nu saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 394K at the end of December and peaking at 549K in mid-March. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of approximately 46.6M in March before ending the quarter at 43.7M.
Banco Itaú: Conta, Cartão e + experienced a steady rise in downloads, reaching 344K by late January and maintaining around 300K weekly downloads thereafter. Active users also showed growth, moving from 9.1M to over 11.1M by the end of March.
CAIXA Tem had a remarkable increase in downloads, particularly in February, where they jumped from 257K to 491K. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from 5.1M to 6.8M over the quarter.
CAIXA showed a steady climb in downloads, reaching a peak of 377K in late March. Active users fluctuated but remained around the 10M mark throughout the quarter.
Inter - Send Money maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 240K weekly. Active users started the quarter at 11.5M, with minor fluctuations, ending at approximately 10.9M.
