In the first quarter of 2025, Latin America's leading consumer finance apps on the Android platform exhibited diverse growth patterns. Here's a closer look at the performance of these top apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Mi Bancolombia experienced a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, starting with 112K in early January and peaking at 1.67M by late March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 87.7K and rising to over 8.1M by the end of the quarter.
Nu maintained a robust download rate, consistently staying above 550K weekly, with a peak of 731K in mid-March. The app's active user base fluctuated slightly, starting at 48.4M and reaching a high of 50.6M before settling at 47.8M.
Nequi Colombia showed a steady increase in downloads, particularly in March, where it reached 839K. Active users increased gradually throughout the quarter, starting at 3.6M and growing to over 4.1M.
Banco Itaú: Conta, Cartão e + saw stable download numbers, hovering around 280K to 345K weekly. Active users showed a positive trend, beginning at 9.1M and peaking at 11.5M in early February.
CAIXA Tem experienced variable download rates, with a significant spike to 491K in late February. Active users fluctuated, starting at 5.6M and reaching 6.8M by the end of March.
