In the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance apps on the Android platform in Uruguay showed varied performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app:
eBROU, published by BROU, experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at about 5K during early February. The app maintained a steady base of weekly active users, ranging from approximately 37K to 42K.
For Banco Santander Uruguay, downloads consistently remained above 3K, with a noticeable rise in mid-March reaching 3.5K. Active user numbers saw a gradual increase throughout the quarter, ending with around 38K.
OCA showed an upward trend in downloads, particularly in March, where they peaked at roughly 2.9K. Active users also increased, peaking mid-month at about 31K before a slight decline.
Itaú Uruguay saw moderate download numbers, with a peak of approximately 1.5K at the end of March. Active users experienced stability, fluctuating between 10K and 11K.
Finally, BBVA Uruguay had a varied download pattern, with a high of around 1.5K in early February and a notable increase to 1.2K at the end of March.
