Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps on Android in Colombia: Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the cryptocurrency app market in Colombia showed varied performance across the top five apps on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at the download and active user trends for these leading apps.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet saw a peak in weekly downloads in mid-January, reaching over 103K. However, this number declined steadily over the quarter, finishing with approximately 10.5K in the last week of March. The app maintained a strong presence in terms of active users, starting at around 650K and peaking at 770K in January, before experiencing a slight decrease to about 681K by the end of the quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a similar trend in downloads, beginning with about 25K and peaking at 39K in January. The downloads gradually decreased to around 12K by the end of March. The number of active users also followed this pattern, starting at 96K, reaching a high of 113K, and then declining to approximately 76K.

El Dorado P2P had a modest start with downloads around 5K, experiencing fluctuations but eventually increasing to approximately 2.5K by the end of March. Active users saw a notable increase, starting at 5.9K and rising to 25K, particularly gaining momentum in March.

Wenia had a slow start with downloads under 1K, but saw a spike in mid-February to over 5K, before settling back to around 1K by the end of the quarter.

Sweat Wallet began the quarter with downloads around 2.1K, maintaining steady numbers before dipping slightly to 1.3K by the end of March. Active users showed resilience, starting at 66K, dipping slightly, then stabilizing around 58K.
