In the first quarter of 2025, the food delivery app market in Kuwait saw notable trends on the Android platform. Here's a breakdown of the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
The app demonstrated a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 4.7K and peaking at 6.1K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from about 5K to 8.7K.
Weekly downloads for Talabat began at 4.2K, with a notable rise to 6K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers were consistently high, starting at 41.4K and reaching 45.3K.
Jahez saw a decline in weekly downloads from 2.5K to 1.2K. However, the active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 10-11K range throughout the quarter.
JAMEIA.COM experienced a spike in downloads in mid-January, hitting 4.8K, before settling to lower numbers around 300 by the end of March. The app did not report active user data.
Deliveroo's downloads varied, starting at 895 and increasing to 1.8K by the end of Q1. Active users showed a steady increase from 24.7K to 31.1K.
