In the first quarter of 2025, the hypercasual gaming scene on Android in Europe showcased some notable trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five games in this category demonstrated varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.
Block Blast! from HungryStudio saw fluctuating revenue, with a peak of $19 in the week of March 24. Weekly downloads remained strong, peaking at 1.6M in early March. Active users steadily increased, reaching over 6M by the end of the quarter.
Vita Mahjong by Vita Studio showed a consistent weekly revenue, generally ranging between $1K and $2K. Downloads experienced a significant spike in early March, reaching 1.8M. Active users grew steadily, peaking at over 4.2M in the same period.
Snake Clash! from Supercent, Inc. maintained a stable revenue, consistently around $4K. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of 649K in mid-February, and active users increased to over 3.5M by the end of March.
Mini Games: Calm & Relax by Unicorn Studio Official had modest revenue trends, peaking at $611. Downloads saw a decline over the quarter, dropping to 274K by the end. Active users also decreased, ending at 672K.
Cat Chaos: Prankster from Mirai Games, despite having no significant revenue, had a notable download count at the start of the quarter with 2.4M, but this number declined to 69K by the end. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing to 176K.
