State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on the Android platform in Australia showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the activity of each app.
myBupa experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 4K in mid-March. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, starting the quarter with around 63K and reaching approximately 73K by mid-March.
My Medibank showed a moderate growth in downloads, with numbers ranging from 1.8K to 2.5K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 50.7K in mid-February and ending the quarter with about 44.5K.
AAMI App saw a consistent increase in downloads, reaching over 2K by early March. Its active users grew significantly from 11.4K to a peak of 21.8K in mid-February, before stabilizing around 17.2K at the quarter's end.
nib experienced a gradual rise in downloads, peaking at just over 2K in early February. Active users increased steadily from 9.5K to over 15K by the end of March.
HCF My Membership App showed a modest increase in downloads, with peaks reaching 1.9K in mid-March. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, ultimately rising to 10.3K by the end of March.
