In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of insurance applications on the Android platform in Germany showed varied trends. Here's an overview of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

TK-App, developed by Techniker Krankenkasse, saw a fluctuating download pattern. Weekly downloads peaked at around 19.4K in mid-January, with a decline toward the end of the quarter, finishing at approximately 14K. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 893K and decreasing to 438K by the end of March.

Meine Allianz experienced a decrease in downloads throughout the quarter, beginning with 20.5K and dropping to around 8K. However, active users demonstrated resilience, starting at 106K and increasing to 133K by the end of the quarter.

My AXA Mobile started with lower download numbers, peaking at 8K in early January, and ending slightly lower at 6.1K. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, growing from 42K to 71K over the quarter.

DAK App had a stable download rate, starting at 6.8K and ending at 4.8K. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, beginning at 71K and closing at 91K.

HUK Mein Auto showed a decline in downloads from 7.5K to 2.1K, but active users remained fairly stable, starting at 117K and finishing at 139K.
