In the first quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement. Here's a look at the trends for the leading apps, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
Progressive maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 81.8K in late February. Active users increased significantly, reaching approximately 1.5M by the end of March, indicating strong user engagement throughout the quarter.
UnitedHealthcare experienced a notable decline in downloads after a high of 145.9K at the start of the quarter, settling to around 47.4K by the end. Active users fluctuated, starting at 832K and ending the quarter at approximately 667K.
State Farm® showed a steady download trend, with numbers hovering around 61.5K in early January and slightly decreasing to 49.4K by the end of March. Active users, however, rose to about 1.1M, peaking towards the end of the quarter.
GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 36.3K in late February. Despite some fluctuations, active users remained relatively stable, concluding the quarter with around 703K users.
Allstate Mobile recorded a steady rise in downloads, reaching 22.8K in late March. Active user numbers also showed an upward trend, peaking at over 511K by early March.
