In the first quarter of 2025, the MMORPG category on the Android platform in France saw diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower, these insights provide a clear view of the current landscape in this competitive market.
DOFUS Touch: A WAKFU Prequel from ANKAMA GAMES showed varied performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at around $30.4K at the start and closing at $26.3K. Downloads experienced a downward trend, beginning the quarter with 2.4K and ending with 1.5K. Active users started at 26.2K and saw a slight decline to 20.7K by the end of March.
Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. witnessed a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue rose to approximately $20.7K by late March. Downloads began at 1.7K, decreasing to 973 by the end. Active users saw a decline from 8.8K to 5.8K over the quarter.
Go Go Muffin from X.D. Global experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at $23.8K and dropping to $7.3K. Downloads followed a similar trend, with numbers decreasing from 2.3K to 633. Active users also dropped from 2.4K to 1.2K by the end of the quarter.
The Legend of Neverland by SKYWORK AI Pte.Ltd. had fluctuating revenue, peaking at $9K in early February before settling at $4.5K. Downloads decreased significantly from 4.3K to 350. Active users saw an initial drop from 17.5K to 6.2K but stabilized towards the end.
Finally, Dragon Trail 2: Fantasy World by TTHmobi displayed a moderate revenue increase, reaching $6.2K in mid-March. Downloads dropped from 835 to 332, while active users fell from 2.6K to 1.2K over the quarter.
