During the first quarter of 2025, the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre on Android in Australia showcased intriguing trends across its top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from MOONTON experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $58K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a minor high of around 793 in early January, while active users saw a gradual decline from nearly 13K to 11.2K by the end of the quarter.
Brawl Stars by Supercell showed a varied revenue trend, starting at $18K and closing at $13K. Downloads decreased from 1.9K to just under 1K, while active users saw a decline from roughly 220K to 178K over the period.
League of Legends: Wild Rift by Riot Games, Inc experienced a downward revenue trend, starting at $4.7K and ending at $2.7K. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 200, while active users decreased slightly from 4.3K to 3.7K.
Honor of Kings from Level Infinite saw weekly revenue fluctuate with a peak of $7.5K in late January. Downloads remained steady throughout the quarter, averaging around 300, while active users initially declined but rebounded to 1.3K by March's end.
Squad Busters, another Supercell title, had a modest revenue range, peaking at $2.6K in early February. Downloads showed a declining trend, dropping from 400 to 181, while active users maintained some fluctuation, ending the quarter at 7.3K.
