In the first quarter of 2025, the top platformer games on the Android platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a detailed look at the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Subway Surfers from SYBO Games demonstrated a strong revenue growth, peaking at around $16.6K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 125K and dipping to 83K mid-quarter before stabilizing at approximately 86K. Active users showed a downward trend, starting from nearly 1.8M and ending the quarter at 1.5M.
Geometry Dash Lite by RobTop Games maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 120K and closing at 70K. Despite having no revenue, the game engaged over 1.8M active users initially, with a slight decrease to 1.5M by the end of March.
Build A Queen from Supersonic Studios LTD had a varied download pattern, starting at 108K, dropping, and then rising to 73K by mid-March. Active users hovered around 1.1M throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations.
Going Balls, also by Supersonic Studios LTD, saw revenue peaking at $1K in early February. Downloads began at 85K, decreasing to 42K by the end of the quarter. The game maintained a stable active user base around 200K.
Lastly, Food Run - Crowd Control Game by Diced Pixel, LLC started strong with 90K downloads but dropped to 39K by March's end. Active users increased from 218K at the start to 217K by the end, showing a stable engagement.
