2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top five shopping apps on the Android platform in Bulgaria showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire started the quarter with weekly downloads around 34.6K, which gradually decreased to approximately 14.1K by the end of March. However, weekly active users remained robust, beginning at about 480K and ending with a slight rise to 517K.
Trendyol - Online Alışveriş experienced a significant increase in downloads, starting at just over 700 and peaking at around 25.9K in early March. Active users also surged, beginning at 20.7K and climbing dramatically to nearly 130K by the end of the quarter.
SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 10.5K and 15.5K. Active users saw a peak of 507K in late January before stabilizing around 401K by the end of March.
Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 9.7K and dropping to about 8.3K. Active users followed a similar trend, with numbers decreasing from 32.4K to 22.4K over the quarter.
Lidl Plus had a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 6.7K to 11.7K. The app's active user base was strong, beginning at 579K and reaching a peak of 722K by the end of March.
