In the first quarter of 2025, the Tower Defense genre on the Android platform in Portugal showcased a variety of performance trends across the top five games. According to Sensor Tower, these games demonstrated notable fluctuations in downloads, revenue, and active users.
TDS - Tower Destiny Survive from SayGames Ltd saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, culminating at around $120 in the final week of March. Weekly downloads remained fairly stable, peaking at over 2.4K in early February. The game maintained a consistent user base, with active users ranging from approximately 4.5K to 5.7K throughout the quarter.
Plants vs. Zombies™ by ELECTRONIC ARTS experienced steady weekly revenue, reaching up to $30 by the end of January. Downloads showed a slight decline overall, with numbers around 700-800 weekly. Active users saw a gradual decrease from 6K at the start of the quarter to just over 4.3K by the end.
Space Survivor from iStar Technology Investment Co Ltd had a low download rate initially, which picked up towards the end of March with 787 downloads. Although revenue remained negligible, the game maintained a strong active user base, staying above 15K throughout the quarter.
Stick Hero: Tower Defense by Sun Global showed a remarkable increase in downloads, reaching over 1.3K in mid-March. Revenue was minimal but consistent during late February. Active users surged from around 150 to nearly 2K by mid-March, reflecting growing engagement.
Lastly, Fight For America: Country War by Homa saw modest revenue gains, peaking at $39 in early March. Downloads were consistent, with a small peak of 506 in March. Active users improved over the quarter, reaching a high of 4.5K in March before dropping slightly.
