2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top five book applications on iOS in Norway demonstrated varied performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals insights into downloads and user engagement.
BookBeat: Audiobooks & E-books observed a peak in downloads at 2.5K during early February. However, its active users saw a decline from 18.9K at the start of the quarter to 16.3K by the end.
Bibliofil maintained a consistent download range, starting at 1.2K and ending at 1.1K. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 3.7K mid-January before settling at 3.3K by quarter-end.
Storytel - Audiobooks Library showed a steady increase in active users, starting at 50.2K and reaching 62.6K by March end. Revenue peaked at $1.1K in late February, with downloads starting at 1.1K and tapering to 765 by the end of March.
BookBites experienced a decline in downloads from 1.4K in early January to 590 by the end of March, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 21.7K throughout the quarter.
Fabel - Lydbøker og lydserier started with 948 downloads in the first week of January, decreasing to 572 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 1.3K and ending at 998.
