In the first quarter of 2025, the top 5 casual games on iOS in Austria showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each game's statistics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Township from Playrix saw a fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $31.7K in late March. Downloads experienced a steady decline, starting from 9.4K in early January and dropping to 2.2K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 8.6K and 7.9K throughout the quarter.
GeoGuessr by GeoGuessr AB exhibited a modest revenue trend, with a high of approximately $1.2K in mid-January. Downloads peaked at 3.8K in late January before tapering off to 1.8K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 6.8K in mid-March before declining to 4.8K.
Gardenscapes, also from Playrix, maintained strong revenue in early January at around $51.8K, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at $35.9K. Downloads showed a downward trend from 3.4K in mid-January to 847 by the end of March. Active users stayed consistent, with minor fluctuations, averaging around 4.7K.
Subway Surfers by Sybo Games ApS experienced a peak in active users at 39.5K in mid-February. Revenue was relatively stable, peaking at $694 in early February. Downloads were highest at 2.4K in late December, decreasing to 1.6K by quarter's end.
Grand Mountain Adventure 2 from Toppluva AB, despite its recent release, showed promising numbers with an initial surge in downloads at 10.3K in mid-February. Revenue started strong at $3.3K, declining to $819 by the end of March. Active users began at 9.1K, decreasing to 7.2K over the quarter.
