The first quarter of 2025 showed diverse performance trends for the top geolocation games on iOS in Norway. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Pokémon GO from Niantic, Inc. saw a notable surge in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $274K in late February. Weekly downloads also increased significantly, reaching around 2K during the same period. Active users fluctuated, starting at 46K and ending the quarter at 48K, with a peak of 52K.
Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games by Akita Limited Liability Company experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting from $1.1K and dropping to a low of $226. Downloads showed a similar trend, beginning at 212 and decreasing over the quarter. Active users followed this pattern, starting at 278 and ending at 187.
Soundmap: Find Your Songs, developed by Intonation Studios Inc., had a relatively stable quarter with a slight increase in revenue, ending at $177. Downloads peaked mid-March at 104, while active users remained consistent, hovering around 900.
Jurassic World Alive from Jam City, Inc. saw a rise in weekly revenue, reaching $2K in early February. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 87 during the first week of February. Active users showed growth, starting at 232 and ending at 336.
Pikmin Bloom by Niantic, Inc. maintained a steady revenue flow, peaking at $331 in late February. Downloads were low, with a notable spike of 54 in early March. Active users decreased slightly, starting at 285 and ending at 252.
