In the first quarter of 2025, the top horror games on iOS in the United Kingdom displayed varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these games.
Mystery Matters from Playrix saw a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $25.8K and ending the quarter at approximately $18.4K. Downloads peaked at 1.7K in early February before dropping to the mid-300s by the end of March. Active users showed a slight decrease from 13.5K to 14.4K over the quarter.
Identity V by NetEase Games experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a noticeable peak at $24.9K in the last week of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 400-600 range. Active users hovered around 6K, peaking at 6.3K mid-March.
Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun from Dream Plus maintained a consistent revenue trend, with a high of $7.2K in early March. Downloads remained low, generally below 500, while active users showed a slight increase from 1.8K to 1.6K during the quarter.
Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains by Funcat Games Limited showed a significant drop in revenue from $11.4K to $2.1K by the end of March. Downloads fell sharply after a peak of 876 in late December. Active users remained around 2.2K to 2.8K throughout the quarter.
Ghost Invasion: Idle Hunter from Miniclip.com experienced a gradual decline in revenue, starting at $1.7K and dropping to $626. Downloads peaked at 741 in January but decreased to the mid-400s by the end of March.
