In the first quarter of 2025, the hypercasual games category on iOS in Sweden showcased intriguing trends, with several apps standing out for their performance in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five games:
Screwdom by Zego Global Pte Ltd witnessed a remarkable upward trajectory in revenue, starting from a modest $91 in late January and reaching nearly $9.7K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.8K mid-February, while active users steadily increased from 126 in January to over 15K by the quarter's end.
Goods Puzzle: Sort Challenge from ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD. maintained a consistent revenue stream, ranging from $1.1K to $2.5K weekly. Downloads saw a peak of 3.6K in early March, while active users hovered around 17K to 19K throughout the quarter.
Screw Out, also by Zego Global Pte Ltd, experienced a decrease in downloads from 10.4K in early January to just over 200 by the end of March. Revenue showed a slight decline, closing the quarter at around $846, while active users slightly increased to approximately 1.8K.
Disney Frozen Royal Castle by Budge Studios had a stable performance in active users, maintaining around 3.8K to 3.9K weekly. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, ending March at $848, while downloads remained low, ranging from 112 to 249 throughout the quarter.
Magic Sort! from Grand Games A.Ş. saw a significant rise in revenue, reaching over $3.6K by the end of March. Downloads increased notably from 2 in early February to over 900 by the end of the quarter. Active users grew from 26 in early February to nearly 4.7K by March.
