In the first quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom demonstrated varied performance patterns, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data.
Hastings Direct Insurance exhibited a consistent climb in weekly downloads, peaking at around 23.9K in late February. The app maintained a strong engagement with weekly active users, rising to a high of approximately 228K by mid-January before settling around 211K by the end of March.
HSBC Health experienced a sharp surge in downloads, notably hitting 77.5K in early February. However, this was followed by a decrease, with downloads leveling out to about 4.5K towards the end of the quarter.
Admiral Insurance maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers hovering around 12K. Active user numbers showed a slight uptrend, peaking at roughly 135K in early February.
MyAviva - Insurance & finance saw a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 11.5K in early March. The app's active user base grew significantly, topping at about 191K by the end of March.
Legal & General demonstrated a notable rise in weekly downloads, especially in early March with approximately 28.5K downloads. However, the active user count saw fluctuations, peaking at 58K in late January before decreasing to about 45K at quarter's end.
