In the first quarter of 2025, the top MMORPG applications on iOS in the United States showcased diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Go Go Muffin from X.D. Global saw its weekly revenue peaking at around $381K in late January before a gradual decline to about $114K by the end of March. Weekly downloads followed a similar downward trend, starting at approximately 24.7K in early January and dropping to around 5.4K. Active users peaked at 28.5K in late January and decreased to about 17.1K by quarter's end.
Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching $609K in mid-March. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 8K to 9K per week. Active users started at 71.5K in early January, dipping to 34.9K in early March before recovering to 44.9K by the end of the quarter.
Path of Titans from Alderon Games had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at about 6.3K in early March. Active users also saw a growth trend, rising to nearly 12K in mid-March. Revenue remained negligible throughout the quarter.
Fate of the Empress by Wish Interactive Technology showed a strong revenue peak of $45.6K in early March. Downloads began at approximately 5.3K in early January, declining to around 3.1K by the end of March. Active users decreased from 8.1K to 6.5K over the quarter.
Finally, Old School RuneScape from Jagex maintained consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $120K mid-March. Downloads and active users showed minor fluctuations, with active users stabilizing at about 68.9K by the end of the quarter.
