In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in the Netherlands showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Polarsteps Travel saw a peak in weekly downloads in early February, reaching 20K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users climbing from 432K at the start of the quarter to a high of 509K by late February.

Google Maps maintained consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 8.7K and 10.3K. Active users showed an upward trend, starting at 4.8M and peaking at 5.1M by the end of March.

Flitsmeister experienced a significant rise in revenue, peaking at $144K in the first week of January. Downloads increased notably in late March, reaching 10.9K, while active users grew steadily, surpassing 653K by the end of the quarter.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht had a surge in downloads at the end of March, hitting 18.9K. The app's active users also increased significantly, starting at 145K and reaching 243K by the quarter's end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed steady growth in downloads, ending the quarter at 6.2K. Active users saw fluctuations but remained strong, closing at 352K.
