The first quarter of 2025 saw notable performances from the leading train games on iOS in Europe. Here's a closer look at each app's journey through this period, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Train Miner: Idle Railway Game from AI Games FZ experienced substantial growth. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $22K in late February, while downloads surged to 72K mid-quarter. Active users climbed steadily, reaching around 257K by mid-February, before settling around 216K at the end of March.
Train Station 2: Steam Empire by Pixel Federation Games saw fluctuating revenue, hitting a high of $43.5K in early January. Downloads decreased over the quarter from 9.9K to 2.7K, and active users followed a similar trend, dropping from 48K to about 32K.
Train King Tycoon: Rail Empire by BoomBit, Inc. showed a promising start with revenue increasing from $362 to over $2.2K by March. Downloads also rose, with a peak of 5.9K at the end of March.
Subway Surfers City from Sybo Games ApS maintained a steady revenue, peaking at $1K in late December. Downloads showed a declining trend, starting from 5.5K and ending at 2.8K.
Train Games: Train Simulator by Muhammad Hussain had modest revenue, with the highest being $61 in February. Downloads varied, starting at 5.9K and fluctuating throughout the quarter, while active users remained stable around 34K.
