In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading auto applications in Uruguay exhibited interesting trends across downloads, revenue, and active users.
A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) saw a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching around $153 in early February. Downloads started strong at the beginning of the quarter, with 753, but gradually declined to 82 by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a decrease from 482 to 212 over the quarter.
Webmotors: vender carro maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $85 in the last week of March. Downloads varied moderately, beginning at 62 at the start of the quarter and increasing to 69 by the end. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 500 throughout the quarter.
CarOS® — Powerful dashboard experienced a decline in active users, from 259 to 206. Revenue fluctuated, with a peak of $55 in late February, but downloads were minimal, with only sporadic activity throughout the quarter.
OBDocker - OBD2 Car Scanner showed a dynamic revenue pattern, peaking at $72 at the end of March. Downloads remained steady, generally ranging between 39 and 48 weekly. Active users increased from 262 to 350, showing a positive trend.
Lastly, CarOS · Smart Dashboard had minimal download activity, with revenue reaching a high of $33 in late February. Active user data was not available for this app.
